This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) announces its Fiscal Year 2005 University Research Initiatives (NURI) to enhance the capabilities of U.S. universities to perform research and related education in science and engineering areas critical to our mission and to national defense. The NURI Program is a component of the NGA Academic Research Program (NARP). NGA also welcomes proposals from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Tribal Colleges and Universities, and other Minority Institutions, either individually or as members of proposed teams. The BAA does not provide a set-aside for funding proposals from minority institutions. However, an additional BAA released simultaneously with this one will provide for a specific set-aside to minority institutions.
